12:00 & 2:00pm Childrens yoga sessions with Angela Rose
Angela Rose has been involved in fitness since her first at-home workouts as a kid with Get in Shape, Girl! After serving in the Coast Guard, she later went on to become a wakeboarding coach, watersports instructor, personal trainer, kickboxing instructor, boot camp instructor, pilates teacher and finally yoga instructor. Through yoga, she was able to find a sense of stillness that had been missing from a life of rushing to what is next and (as her husband joked), always to the theme song of “Flight of the Bumble Bee”. In 2015 she truly fell in love with yoga not only because of the students whom she looked forward to seeing nearly every day but also being able to share her practice with her first daughter and then with her second. Angela is an RYT 200 yoga teacher with a specialty in Childrens' Yoga. She has several certifications in personal training, pilates, aquatics, boot camp, kickboxing and is currently finishing up her RYT 500. Hummingbirds Yoga LLC was created in loving memory of her first daughter and is also a celebration of her rainbow daughter, who spends her every minute being the brightest star in Angela’s life. It is because of this that our main focus is on kid-friendly classes. It is her hope that you will find your inner sanctuary here as well. When she is not teaching, you can find her and her family either making vegan food from scratch, in one of many gardens, making sand angels at the beach, playing with their dogs, having impromptu art sessions, being amazed by Mother Nature and just enjoying regular moments of laughter in everyday life.
