Tri-Mindfulness is BACK for Veg-Out 2022!
Join us for a morning of running (or walking), yoga, and meditation all while raising funds and awareness for Yoga Village, a local non-profit that brings yoga, meditation, and other activities to Wilmington's under-serviced communities. Welcome to TRI-Mindfulness where we combine the three great and healthy activities of running, yoga, and meditation. This active morning starts with an un-timed 5K (3.1 miles) walk or run along downtown Wilmington's riverfront. Next, settle into an all-level yoga practice for 45 minutes that will stretch working muscles by moving with the breath while special music accompanies the practice. Finally, sit still for 15 minutes with a guided meditation to quiet body and mind. Be present to the benefits of this cross-training practice. All proceeds will be donated to Yoga Village, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to increase the resilience, personal strength, and wellness of our community by providing evidence-based yoga and mindfulness practices to our most vulnerable neighbors. Veg-Out is a gathering place that focuses on vegetarian food, fun, and healthy living. The purpose of Veg-Out is to introduce Wilmington and other surrounding communities to the benefits of a health-conscious lifestyle. Our goal is to inspire and support anyone who wants to learn more about living a more vibrant, environmentally friendly, and compassionate life. Admission is free
